June 2019 Newsletter

A special thanks to Florence Leyret Jeune for the photograph!

Breaking news from Zócalo Folk Art & Tours: we are opening our new gallery on the Plaza Grande in Pátzcuaro! We will be showcasing collectible folk art, Mexican dance masks, graphic art, paintings, jewelry, milagro art, antiques and much more!

Zócalo Folk Art has been very busy this Spring 2019. The fiestas of Carnival, Semana Santa in Uruapan and Pátzcuaro, Día de Corpus and much more.

We still have a few spaces available for our 2019 Day of the Dead Tour in Pátzcuaro. Remember our tours are specifically limited to a small group so that we may open doors that others cannot.

Zócalo Folk Art & Tours loaned 35 Ocumicho clay pieces from our personal collection for the exposition “Echeri Charapiti – Tierra colorada” at the Centro Cultural Clavijero, Morelia, Michoacán.

Please visit us in Pátzcuaro or join us for a tour of a lifetime!
